*** 10 October workshop is full ***
Workshop runs from 10.30-12.30
We will begin the workshop by walking around my property - finding and tasting a number of weeds that are in your gardens in Spring including chickweed, nettles, plantain, dandelion, fat hen and cleavers. I will teach you the best way to taste plants safely and talk about what to do with these weeds (other than throwing them in your compost heap!).
I love making herbal pesto with all sorts of different herbs and weeds, so I will discuss the various ingredients that go into making a pesto and how to make a pesto, nut free, dairy free etc. I will also demonstrate how to make some simple pestos using weeds and herbs and have some recipes sheets.
As herbal teas are my passion, I will also have some simple, fresh herbal teas that you taste using lemon balm and mint that most people will have already in their gardens.
Disclaimer: Fee must be paid in full at time of booking to secure your spot - we cannot accept payment on the day.
Refunds are not available for workshops for any reason. If you are unable to attend for any reason, please advise us as soon as you can and we will do our best to find someone to take your place. Please understand that unfortunately, this is not always possible.
