Workshop run from 10-2pm - workshop cost is $90
Workshop Outline
This is a totally hands on workshop where you will learn how to identify common weeds (nettles, fat hen, chickweed, plantain, miners lettuce) and then how to use them to make pesto, soup, salads, teas and powders.
In this workshop you will spend time outside in the garden learning how to identify common weeds which will then give you the confidence to use them at home. You will learn how to harvest them (including harvesting nettles) and then you will use these weeds to create amazing food to eat.
Once all the food has been prepared, we will sit down for a shared lunch to experience the “weedy” culinary wonders. Any leftover wonders can be taken home to impress your family and friends.
You will also be able to take home some nettle and other “weed” plants if you want.
This workshop is limited to 4 people.
Disclaimer: Fee must be paid in full at time of booking to secure your spot - we cannot accept payment on the day.
