Workshop Outline
Begin your morning at Tuahiwi Botanicals with a cup of herbal tea grown on the property, then have a guided tour through the fragrant, herb garden. This is an opportunity to experience the taste and smell of a large number of different herbs and other fragrant plants.
After this, head inside to experience the essential oils that come from these plants and many other plants, seeds, barks and grasses. Learn how to smell these essential oils effectively and then spend some time studying in depth, a number of essential oils.
Using these skills, you can then blend your own perfume oil and make a perfumed body oil to take home with you.
A flavourful morning tea made from the herb garden will be provided.
