Workshop Outline
This is another "garden to plate" workshop. You will learn how to grow, harvest and dry calendula and chamomile.Then you will experience fresh and dried flowers in tea and make infused oils and herbal salves.
The workshop will start with herbal tea and a discussion, then we will move into the garden where you will harvest fresh chamomile and calendula flowers to take home with you. You will learn when is the best time to harvest and then what to do with the flowers that you have harvested.
Moving inside, you will make infused oils and then make herbal salves using calendula and chamomile oils.
You will get to take home:
. Fresh calendula and chamomile flowers that you harvested
. Infused herbal oils that you made
. Herbal salves that you made
. Calendula and chamomile plants - so you can grow your own plants at home.
This workshop will give you the confidence to grow and use calendula and chamomile in a number of different ways.
