Workshop Outline
The workshop will begin with time spent outside in the herb garden discussing some of the various herbs which are commonly infused into oil – calendula, plantain, comfrey, sage, lavender, rose, thyme.
You will learn about growing, harvesting, drying and infusing these herbs in oil using both hot and cold methods.
You will get to make:
· a basic herbal salve, using your choice of herbal oils
· a natural deodorant
I will demonstrate how to make a basic body cream.
You will get to take home, one of each of these products (valued at $50) as well as the recipes for each of these products. These are the recipes that I use for my body creams and natural deodorant rubs.
